Relief pharmacist - open to Scottish trainee pharmacists

Salary: £55,250.00 - £66,690.00 / year

This role is ideal for newly qualified pharmacists and experienced pharmacists alike, who enjoy different learning experiences across various branches within the same organisation. If you find job satisfaction in collaborating with colleagues to enhance service delivery in different communities, this may well suit your requirements.
Locations will mainly be Edinburgh, with some occasional visits to the Borders. If visits are longer than one day, accommodation and meals will be provided.
Additional training and support will be offered as part of your role to ensure that you are able to deliver all services, including being supported as you undertake the independent prescribing qualification.
Key duties:
- Optimise the delivery of dispensing and professional services
- Oversee the implementation of the Scottish pharmacy contract
- Report directly to the branch manager
- Assist the growth of our teams
- Ensure compliance with GPhC standards of practice
Package and benefits:
- Monday to Friday, alternate Saturdays
- From 3 to 6 days per week
- Potential earnings: £55,250 per annum (full time newly qualified) up to £66,690 per annum (full time experienced)
- 33 days holiday

Essential requirements:
- Must be a qualified pharmacist in the UK (or taking summer 2026 GPhC exams)
- Must have GPhC registration once qualified
